Leslie T. Fenwick, PhD, is a member of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) Scholarly Advisory Committee (SAC). The SAC is comprised of nationally-renowned scholars and was established by noted historian Dr. John Hope Franklin to help establish the museum’s intellectual agenda and exhibition content.
